    Ingredients

    • 2 cups mini marshmallows
    • 1 (15.25 oz.) chocolate cake mix
    • 1 cup peppermint patties, chopped
    • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup cocoa mix
    • 1/4 cup 2% milk
    • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
    • 1 (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
    • 1 (8 oz.) cool whip

    Directions

    1. Cake: Place marshmallows over the bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
    2. Prepare chocolate cake mix as directed.
    3. Pour cake mixture over the marshmallows.
    4. Place the peppermint patties over the cake mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 37 minutes.
    5. Cool completely.
    6. Filling: Beat cream cheese, cocoa, milk and chocolate chips and mix well.
    7. Spread over the chocolate cake.
    8. Spread cherry pie filling over the filling.
    9. Topping: Spread cool whip over the cherry pie filling.
    10. Decorate.
