Black Forest Torte
Ingredients
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 (15.25 oz.) chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup peppermint patties, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup cocoa mix
- 1/4 cup 2% milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
- 1 (8 oz.) cool whip
Directions
- Cake: Place marshmallows over the bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
- Prepare chocolate cake mix as directed.
- Pour cake mixture over the marshmallows.
- Place the peppermint patties over the cake mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 37 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Filling: Beat cream cheese, cocoa, milk and chocolate chips and mix well.
- Spread over the chocolate cake.
- Spread cherry pie filling over the filling.
- Topping: Spread cool whip over the cherry pie filling.
- Decorate.
