    Kit Kat ice cream was made successful by the construction of the candy. The chocolate keeps the wafers crunchy, this lends the ice cream its creamy and crunchy texture. Makes 1 Quart

    Ingredients

    • 4 Kit Kat bars 1.6 ounces each
    • 2 eggs
    • 3/4 cup refined sugar
    • 2 cups whipping cream
    • 1 cup milk
    • 2 tsp vanilla extract

    Directions

    1. Using a knife, chop the candy bars into bite sized pieces. Refrigerate in a covered bowl.
    2. Mix eggs, sugar, cream, and milk in a bowl, add vanilla extract.
    3. Transfer mixture to an ice cream maker and chill following manufacturers instructions.
    4. After ice cream stiffens, just before its done, add Kit Kats and continue freezing until ready.
    5. Makes 1 generous Quart!
