Beef Stroganoff
145 Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs round steak
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic,minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- pepper
- 1 -2 beef bouillon cube
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream div. use
Directions
- Freeze meat until top and bottom is frozen.
- Slice meat diagonally into very thin strips.
- Brown the meat in a large dutch oven.
- Add the garlic and onion and cook until limp.
- Add the mushrooms and heat well.
- Stir in flour, salt, mustard and pepper.
- Add the water,bouillon cube, and worcestershire sauce.
- Cover and cook at a low simmer until meat is tender-about 45 min.
- Stir in 1/2 cup sour cream and heat.
- Top with the remaining sour cream before serving.
- Serve over hot buttered noodles or rice.
