    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 kilo beef brisket, cubed
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce (for marinade)
    • 2 1/2 tbsp calamansi juice
    • 1/4 cup cooking oil
    • 1 1/2 cup grated carrots
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce (datu puti)
    • 2 tsp fish sauce
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/3 cup tomato sauce (UFC)
    • 1/4 cup (Mang Tomas) Lechon sauce
    • water

    Directions

    1. Marinate cubed beef briskets in soy sauce and calamansi juice.
    2. Heat oil and add in grated carrots.
    3. Pour soy sauce fish sauce and brown sugar.
    4. Add in marinated beef brisket along with the marinade, lechon sauce, and some water to submerge the beef.
    5. Pour in the UFC tomato sauce.
    6. Let it simmer until beef is tender.
    7. Season to taste.
