Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 kilo beef brisket, cubed
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (for marinade)
- 2 1/2 tbsp calamansi juice
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1 1/2 cup grated carrots
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (datu puti)
- 2 tsp fish sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce (UFC)
- 1/4 cup (Mang Tomas) Lechon sauce
- water
Directions
- Marinate cubed beef briskets in soy sauce and calamansi juice.
- Heat oil and add in grated carrots.
- Pour soy sauce fish sauce and brown sugar.
- Add in marinated beef brisket along with the marinade, lechon sauce, and some water to submerge the beef.
- Pour in the UFC tomato sauce.
- Let it simmer until beef is tender.
- Season to taste.
