Beef Mini-Loaves with Mushroom Tarragon Cream Gravy
A favorite any week night! Pair it with mashed potatoes and a side green vegetable. Yum! Ingredients
- 1-1/2 pounds Sirloin Ground Beef
- 1/2 onion grated finely
- a handful of cooked mushrooms diced finely
- S & P (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon tarragon
- 1 cup beef broth (low sodium)
- dash or two of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 0ne tablespoon cornstarch
- one tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon tarragon
- another handful of cooked mushrooms whole
Directions
- Pre Heat Oven 375 F
- In large mixing bowl add ground beef, onion, S & P (to taste), garlic powder, tarragon, Worcestershire sauce, and combine mixture well, form small oval thick patties and place into a non stick baking dish.
- Add beef broth, cover with aluminum foil and bake 40 minutes.
- For the sauce: In a small saucepan add butter and corn starch (creating a roux) gradually whisk and add cream, tarragon, mushrooms until thickened.
- Plate and spread tarragon cream gravy across the top of each mini loaf
- Enjoy!
