Beef Mini-Loaves with Mushroom Tarragon Cream Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 pounds Sirloin Ground Beef
  • 1/2 onion grated finely
  • a handful of cooked mushrooms diced finely
  • S & P (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon tarragon
  • 1 cup beef broth (low sodium)
  • dash or two of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0ne tablespoon cornstarch
  • one tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon tarragon
  • another handful of cooked mushrooms whole

Directions

  1. Pre Heat Oven 375 F
  2. In large mixing bowl add ground beef, onion, S & P (to taste), garlic powder, tarragon, Worcestershire sauce, and combine mixture well, form small oval thick patties and place into a non stick baking dish.
  3. Add beef broth, cover with aluminum foil and bake 40 minutes.
  4. For the sauce: In a small saucepan add butter and corn starch (creating a roux) gradually whisk and add cream, tarragon, mushrooms until thickened.
  5. Plate and spread tarragon cream gravy across the top of each mini loaf
  6. Enjoy!
