Beef Kabobs
Ingredients
- 2 pound beef tip or possibly round, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 can condensed beef consomme
- 1/3 c. appple juice
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon onion pwdr
Directions
- Place beef in oblong baking dish. Heat consomme, apple juice, soy sauce, garlic and onion pwdr to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 5 min; cold. Pour mix on beef. Cover and chill, spooning mix over beef occasionally, at least 3 hrs. Thread 4 or possibly 5 cubes on each of 6 to 8 skewers. Broil kabobs with tops about 4 inches from heat, about 7 min or possibly till done to taste. Turn. Also good cooked on your outdoor grill.
