Beef And Chile Pepper Chili
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Oil
- 1 1/2 lb Beef sirloin, cubed
- 1 med Onion, minced
- 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 x Green pepper, minced
- 1 x Red pepper, minced
- 2 x Fresh jalapenos, minced
- 30 ounce Kidney or possibly navy beans
- 14 ounce Beef broth
- 1/2 c. Red wine
- 2 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
- 2 tsp Cumin Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- 1. Heat oil in a Dutch oven or possibly large pot over medium heat.
- 2. Brown meat on all sides in warm oil, 5-8 min; stir only occasionally.
- 3. Add in onions, garlic, bell peppers and jalapeno pepper; cook for 3 min or possibly till vegetable are just tender-crisp.
- 4. Stir in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil; reduce heat cover, and simmer for 40-50 min or possibly till meat is tender.
