  • Beef And Chile Pepper Chili

    Ingredients

    • 2 Tbsp. Oil
    • 1 1/2 lb Beef sirloin, cubed
    • 1 med Onion, minced
    • 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1 x Green pepper, minced
    • 1 x Red pepper, minced
    • 2 x Fresh jalapenos, minced
    • 30 ounce Kidney or possibly navy beans
    • 14 ounce Beef broth
    • 1/2 c. Red wine
    • 2 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
    • 2 tsp Cumin Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. 1. Heat oil in a Dutch oven or possibly large pot over medium heat.
    2. 2. Brown meat on all sides in warm oil, 5-8 min; stir only occasionally.
    3. 3. Add in onions, garlic, bell peppers and jalapeno pepper; cook for 3 min or possibly till vegetable are just tender-crisp.
    4. 4. Stir in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil; reduce heat cover, and simmer for 40-50 min or possibly till meat is tender.
