Baked Shrimp Toast
These are great. I hated how greasy shrimp toast is in the restaurants but these are not greasy and have a great flavor Ingredients
- 3-4 slices buttered bread
- 2 spring onions
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons water chestnuts
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 ½ teaspoon cornstarch
- 2-3 shakes cayenne
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sherry
- 1/2 pound raw shrimp shelled and deveined
Directions
- Pulse ingredients in food processor until mixed.
- Add egg and sherry
- Pulse until the egg white foams about 5 seconds
- Add shrimp. pulse until pasty.
- Spread onto buttered bread slices on both sides.
- Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
