  • Baked Chicken With Lemon Parsley Sauce

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 x Lemon
    • 2 Tbsp. Butter
    • 1 whl chicken breast split Salt Fresh-grnd black pepper
    • 2 Tbsp. Parsley minced

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 450F. Squeeze 1 Tb lemon juice. Heat the butter in a small saucepan or possibly in the microwave. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Put chicken in a baking dish skin side up and drizzle with half of the butter.
    2. Bake till skin is crisp and golden and juices run clear, about 25 to 30 min. Put chicken on a serving platter and keep hot.Stir the lemon juice and remaining butter into pan juices, scraping the pan with a wooden spoon to deglaze. Add in the parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper.
    3. Pour sauce over chicken and serve immediately.
