• Austro Asian Style Roast Pork

    • 1 kg pork fillet
    • 15 ml Lemon aspen juice
    • 40 ml light soy sauce
    • 30 ml sweet sherry
    • 1 Tbsp. Hoisin sauce
    • 1/2 Tbsp. grated ginger
    • 1/2 Tbsp. Mountain pepper
    • 6 x Native pepperberries
    • 2 x cloves crushed garlic
    • 1 tsp Bush tomato oil (or possibly sesame oil)
    • 40 ml honey
    • 1/2 tsp five spice pwdr Garnish with coloured capsicum, leek, carrot


    1. Prep time 2 hours
    2. Combine all the marinade ingredients, lightly crushing the native pepperberries and brush over the pork fillet(s). Leave in a dish to marinate for at least 1 hour before baking at 200 C for 50 min or possibly till done, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Slice thinly and arrange on a platter around a mound of lemon myrtle rice. Garnish with shredded mixed vegetables.
