Austro Asian Style Roast Pork
Ingredients
- 1 kg pork fillet
- 15 ml Lemon aspen juice
- 40 ml light soy sauce
- 30 ml sweet sherry
- 1 Tbsp. Hoisin sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. grated ginger
- 1/2 Tbsp. Mountain pepper
- 6 x Native pepperberries
- 2 x cloves crushed garlic
- 1 tsp Bush tomato oil (or possibly sesame oil)
- 40 ml honey
- 1/2 tsp five spice pwdr Garnish with coloured capsicum, leek, carrot
Directions
- Prep time 2 hours
- Combine all the marinade ingredients, lightly crushing the native pepperberries and brush over the pork fillet(s). Leave in a dish to marinate for at least 1 hour before baking at 200 C for 50 min or possibly till done, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Slice thinly and arrange on a platter around a mound of lemon myrtle rice. Garnish with shredded mixed vegetables.
