My great, great aunt Henrietta made home made cinnamon rolls, and now my mom makes them. They are BETTER than CinnaBon's!

    Ingredients

    • 2 packages yeast
    • 1 Tbsp sugar
    • 1 cup lukewarm water
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 stick margarine
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 6-7 cups flour
    • 3 eggs beaten
    • Filling:
    • 1 cup white sugar, 6 Tbsp ground cinnamon and 1/2 stick softened butter

    Directions

    1. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water along with 1 Tbsp sugar. Scald milk, add margarine, sugar, salt and cool to lukewarm. Add 2 cups flour to batter - add yeast mixture and beaten eggs. Beat well. Add remaining flour to make soft dough. Place in a greased bowl, cover and set in a warm place with no draft. Let rise 2 hours. When light, punch down and roll out flat. Spread butter on the flattened dough and spread cinnamon sugar mixture evenly on the buttered dough. Roll the dough long and cut three inch sections. Place in greased 9x13 pan and bake for 15-20 minutes in 350 degree oven.
