Anissabo (Pea Soup Cree Style)
Ingredients
- 2 c. dry peas, soaked
- 20 ounce hominy
- 1 c. celery leaves -=or possibly=-
- 2 pch thyme salt pepper savoury
- 16 c. water
Directions
- When the soaking peas are soft, put them in a large pot with the rest of the ingredients. Simmer till the peas are tender but stil hard. Add in the hominy & cook until thickened. Serve warm.
