    Ingredients

    • 3 Tbsp. oil
    • 1 x bay leaf
    • 1 x onion
    • 1/2 tsp ginger
    • 1/2 tsp garlic
    • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric
    • 1 1/2 tsp chile pwdr
    • 2/3 tsp yogurt
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 2 tsp coriander pwdr
    • 1 lb potatoes
    • 1 x tomato
    • 1 x pepper

    Directions

    1. 1. Heat oil, add in bay leaf and onion. Fry for 3-4 min. Add in ginger and garlic and fry for another minute. Add in mustard and cumin seeds.
    2. 2 The potatoes should be sliced, and the tomatoes and pepper cut up. Add in these, mix well, and cook for 4-5 min, continuously stirring.
    3. 3. Sprinkle with turmeric, coriander and chile pwdr.
    4. 4. Beat the yogurt and blend into a smooth mix. Add in yogurt and salt.
    5. 5. Mix gently, cover and cook for about 10 min on low heat.
