A Simple Cake!!!
My serving suggestion is, fresh whip cream and fresh strawberries and don’t forget a good cup of coffee. With Love, Catherine xo Ingredients
- 3½ cups flour – sifted
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoons orange marmalade
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup sour milk – (sour milk; add 1 tablespoon vinegar to milk and let stand -15 minutes)
Directions
- Preheat Oven 350 degrees:
- In a mixing bowl combine all of the dry ingredients.
- In a mix-master combine the eggs, sugar, marmalade and butter. Mix these ingredients until smooth and creamy.
- Slowly add the sour milk and dry ingredients, alternately.
- Butter a bundt pan and evenly pour the batter in the pan.
- Bake 30-35 minutes or until the toothpick test comes out clean.
