Cream Cake( MawMaw Wyatt's )
Prep: 20`25 min Cook: 30 min Servings: 8by Kathy Young6 recipes>Every once in a while MawMaw would bake us her Favorite Cake~~she called My Cream Cake!! Loved it then & still love it now!! Ingredients
- Bake a yellow cake mix per the directions~~let cool then add CREAM FROSTING: as seen below!
Directions
- Cream Frosting
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk(cream)
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 2 Tablespoon's light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla
- Combine all ingredients except vanilla.
- Bring to a boil, stirring well so it won't burn,boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from stove & stir in Vanilla
- Let Frosting cool off & thicken up ~~frost cake!! ENJOY!!
