    Ingredients

    • 1 pound dried bean mix
    • 1 onion ,chopped
    • 1/2 cup celery, sliced
    • 1 carrot, sliced
    • 1 tablespoon low sodium chicken bouillon granules
    • 1 can (15 ounce size) low sodium tomatoes
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    • 6 cups water

    Directions

    1. Soak and drain beans. In a large saucepan or Dutch oven combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer tender, about 1 1/2 hours
