About me

I'm a single mother of 4. Working full time doesn't really give me alot of time to prepare some of the food I know my family loves. I use the slow cooker alot. My daugher cooks alot and like to sample. She has come up with some good things.

Cooking Influences

My parents came from Czechoslavakia. My mother did all the homesyle cooking from there. I remeber her making blintzes, potato pancakes, goulash, chicken paprikash, to name a few. She made delicious homemade pies and pastries. She was an unbelieveable cook. I can remember watching her cook without ever measuring. She always said she cooked by feel. I have tried to make similar food and have gotten pretty close on some. My older son and I love to get together on weekends and cook or BBQ. We always have a great time trying new things.
