About me

I came from a heritage of incredible cooks. The McNee family gatherings were always known for very delicious food. I wasn't given the normal artistic ability, but I try to use my creativity with food. I am a mom of four beautiful kids. Recently after 12 years as a stay at home mom I returned to the work force. It has been quite an adjustment. My favorite hobby is cooking!! I love to put a great home cooked meal on the table every night. It is my favorite family moment and sometimes the only time we get all together. Priceless conversation and relationships are strengthened each night.

I enjoyed reading your profile comments - just two thoughts: 'never trust a skinny cook' and 'it is good to be fat in lean times', although you certainly appear to be just exactly right in your photo, Besides - we're cooks and cooks eat! I look forward to testing some of your submissions and hope you'll do the same - a few of mine are, in fact, somewhat 'healthy', or so I would have you believe. I am new to this site, love it and am very happy to have found such a warm and friendly place.
