About me

My inspirations draw heavily from instinct and seasonality, depending on what is in bloom and what flavors and textures appeal to me. I am a Chesapeake Bay, MD native, and one of my favorite childhood places was my mom’s garden. My style and approach to food today pay tribute to those early memories. I was an Army wife for over 25 years and during those years, the happiest times I had were in the kitchen cooking with friends and family. Now that my husband has retired and my children have “flown the coop” I spend most of my energy on food, gardening and wine. My motto is “Elegantly Easy”
