About me

I love travelling and enjoying different kinds of food. From Indian food to mediterranian to western to asian, all kinds of food and its various preparation styles and flavours has fasinated me.
I enjoy trying out new recipes and experimenting them on my husband who is my best critic....But of late he says "yummy" to everything I make so I have started trying out my recipes on friends :-)

Hi Manju, I have it on good authority from a friend in India that your recipes are authentic. I am new to Indian food, and wondered if you have a recommendation for a good starter recipe? Thank you, and wish you the best.

So glad to have met you here and thanks a lot for asking me your suggestions.
Are you lookijng for Vegetarian or Non-vegetarian recipes? I'll give you options in both.

            Vegetarian options:
Veg Samosa , Mixed Veg cutlets , Paripuvada (lentil croquettes),
Chilli Gobi(Cauliflower)/Baby corn Manchurian (for both these you can use my Chilli chicken recipe and use Cauliflower or baby corn instead of the chicken)

            Non-veg options:
Chilli chicken, Tuna fish cutlets , Grilled barbeque chicken , Chicken roasted with Indian spices, Shrimp dry roast.

I have chosen the recipes you can find from my list here so that you have easy access to the recipe.
Let me know what you think and if you liked any of these dishes. If you want I can send you the individual links to these recipes or give you more options.

(In my persoanl opinion, if you are new to Indian food you should try an easy recipe like the Veg or Tuna Cutlets for example . Both are really good and easy recipes and a perfect starter , you could even shape them into balls and stick cute little toothpicks in them and prepare some easy mint-cilantro-yoghurt dip and serve them)

            Regards,
            Manju

Manju...I finally had a chance to have a quick browse through some of your recipes.

Your Blueberry and cherry pie along with that gorgeous mango gateau look very promising indeed.

When my Hubby says only the word 'Yummy'...it only makes me do the recipe better the next time ;o) He does after all have to eat all I prepare and he also loves to cook so it's reciprocal...does your Hubby prepare food for you too?

Nice to make your acquaintance on CES.

                  Flavourful wishes,
                  Claudia
