About me

My name is Nichol and I am almost 34 years old. I live in Grand Island, Nebraska, which is in the central part of the state. I am Mommy to my 2 3/4 year old daughter, Molly and to my 3 month old son, Mason! I am a HUGE Nebraska Cornhusker fan and bleed Husker red no matter how they are playing. I love to travel, work on my photography, scrapbook, make crafts, sew, play volleyball and go to sporting events. My family loves to spend time together playing cards and board games, attend church, go to the movies & museums and most of all, COOK!! I am a professional chef and caterer and I truly believe the heart of OUR household is our kitchen! I love watching our daughter get excited helping out in the kitchen, whether it's measuring, stirring, or learning a new baking technique! I am always learning new things from other cooks/chefs and I believe recipes are only a suggestion! ;-) I love to use recipes as simple guidelines and come up with new and fresh recipe ideas. I am currently writing a cookbook of all mine and my family & friends, tried and true recipes. Cooking is my therapy! '-) If you'd like to know more, feel free to ask.
