About me
Laura serves as Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the culinary and creative aspects of the company. Laura previously was the Executive Chef in restaurant kitchens in both Boston and Tampa. Laura opened A la Carte Catering in 1981 and was the owner/operator of this company. A la Carte Catering was renowned for high-end catering and managed events up to 5000 guests in off-site locations. After partnering with the Outback Corporation to build the A La Carte Event Pavilion in 2000, Laura assumed responsibility for all culinary operations for this venue. Her culinary education was developed from working with and learning from talented chefs with international experience and because of this, she is able to authentically recreate cuisine from all parts of the globe.
