Cooking Influences
My grandfather (Capt. Tack Krebs) was a wonderful cook. When I was 5 years old he pulled a wooden chair up to his stove, Put a long handled spoon in my hand and told me to stir his gumbo roux and not to stop until he told me to. For those of you who know about Gumbo rouxs you understand where it could go from there. I still have the spoon.
