About me

I was born in Amalfi Coast of Salerno, Italy and received my professional training from Montescalari Culinary School in Firenze, Italy where I graduated.
I worked in several jobs and helped open restaurants in France, a family restaurant in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. I came to San Francisco for the first time on 2004 because romance, now I have a beautiful boy, I am trying to bring my Mom's slow food Philosophy, on my cooking..

Cooking Influences

My mamma she give me my first cook book ( and the gift) wen I was in high school Gualtiero Marchesi, chef that he inspired me since, Giancarlo Calciolari (chef writer),and Carlo Petrini ( founder of Slow Food) and thanks to my son Lorenzo he inspire my every day, with his love, and "Papa' you are the best chef " my Mamma, she have been chef for 30 years, and she thought us her passion for simplicity and flavors of how basic food can taste " DELIZIOSO" we were blessed every day with.
Thanks a "Anarella" my great grand haunt the "medicine woman" in the family, she thought me how to respect nature, and about the benefit and the power of herbs, and how to apply them in my cooking.
