About me

I'm a cookbook author and speaker who used to be a banker and decided it was time to follow my passion for food. I quit the banking world and wrote a cookbook called The Cook-a-Palooza Experience which paired my favorite recipes with popular songs from the past (music is my other passion).

The purpose was to make cooking a healthy and memorable experience, not a frightening forgettable one for both those who love to cook and those starting out in the kitchen.

I regularly update my blog with new recipes (paired with songs) which are posted here on Cook Eat Share. Throughout the year I also visit colleges and universities teaching students basic cooking 101 skills in my own unique music-infused cooking sort of way!

Cooking Influences

"Wok with Yan". A Canadian cooking show I watched religiously as a teenager. His great sense of humor and saucy dishes made you want to try every dish he prepared on the show.

My Grandmother...the kindest lady and a brilliant cook who had years upon years worth of recipes in her head. I only wish she would have written a few down.

My Mother...who can impress any friend, family or guest with her culinary creations. We still don't know how she does it but thank goodness she does!
