  • Zucchini Turkey Burgers

    1 vote
When I've made turkey burgers in the past, they've always seemed to turn out dry. The zucchini adds tons of moisture without adding flavor. This is my new go-to way of making turkey burgers. If you don't like the flavors in the recipes, it's so easy to sub in you're own. I can't wait to experiment more!!

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb ground turkey
    • 2 c grated zucchini, I used the course side on my box grater
    • 3 green onions, sliced thin
    • 2 T fresh cilantro, chopped
    • 2 tsp minced garlic
    • 1 tsp cumin
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp pepper
    • 1/2 tsp cayenne
    • olive oil

    Directions

    1. Mix together the zucchini and green onion.
    2. Add the spices and oil and stir well.
    3. Add the turkey and mix gently just until combined, be careful not to over mix.
    4. Form patties of your desired size.
    5. Cook about 5 minutes a side in a hot skillet with a little olive oil.
    6. The flavors in this particular patty are middle eastern so they are great with some type of yogurt sauce.
