Zucchini Turkey Burgers
Servings: 4by Kyra Martin119 recipes>When I've made turkey burgers in the past, they've always seemed to turn out dry. The zucchini adds tons of moisture without adding flavor. This is my new go-to way of making turkey burgers. If you don't like the flavors in the recipes, it's so easy to sub in you're own. I can't wait to experiment more!! Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 c grated zucchini, I used the course side on my box grater
- 3 green onions, sliced thin
- 2 T fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- olive oil
Directions
- Mix together the zucchini and green onion.
- Add the spices and oil and stir well.
- Add the turkey and mix gently just until combined, be careful not to over mix.
- Form patties of your desired size.
- Cook about 5 minutes a side in a hot skillet with a little olive oil.
- The flavors in this particular patty are middle eastern so they are great with some type of yogurt sauce.
