yummy brussel sprouts...no, really!
After eating this side dish my husband told me I had an uncanny ability to make really gross things suddenly delicious. thank you? Ingredients
- Half pound of trimmed, cleaned and halved brussel sprouts
- 1 big beautiful apple cubed (something sweet - gala, fiji....)
- Olive Oil
- 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
- Drizzle of Maple syrup or Honey
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 F
- Toss the halved sprouts in olive oil and the garlic to coat
- mix in the cubed apple
- Lay out the mix on a foil lined baking sheet
- salt & pepper to your liking
- drizzle some honey or syrup. On a diet? go light. Living the high life? get crazy with that drizzle!
- bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, giving it a toss every now and again so it won't burn.
- Voila!
