Ingredients
- 1/2 CUP ORGANIC OLIVE OIL
- 5 CLOVES ORGANIC GARLIC, PRESSED IN GARLIC PRESS
- 1/2 ORGANIC SWEET VADALIA ONION, CHOPPED
- 2 BASIL PESTO CUBES, THAWED
- 4 TEASPOONS BRAGGS NUTRITIONAL YEAST
- 4 TABLESPOONS BRAGGS LIQUID AMINOS FROM SOY PROTEIN.
- 2 CUPS VEGETABLE STOCK
- 1/2 TEASPOON DRIED SAGE
- 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
- 1/2 TEASPOON ORGANIC GROUND BLACK PEPPER
Directions
- HEAT OLIVE OIL IN A MEDIUM SAUCEPAN OVER MEDIUM HEAT.
- SAUTE' PRESSED GARLIC AND ONION UNTIL SOFT, ADDING 2 BASIL PESTO CUBES, ABOUT 5 MINUTES.
- STIR IN NUTRITIONAL YEAST, BRAGGS LIQUID AMINOS TO FORM A SMOOTH PASTE. (WHEN USING THE VEGETARIAN STOCK WITH LIQUIFIED VEGETABLES, FLOUR IS NOT NECESSARY)
- GRADUALLY WHISK IN VEGETABLE STOCK
- SEASON WITH SAGE, SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE.
- BRING TO A BOIL AND REDUCE HEAT, COOL ENOUGH TO PUT IN NINJA DRINK CONTAINER TO MIX UNTIL SMOOTH.
- RETURN TO THE SAUCEPAN TO REHEAT AS NECESSARY.
