Turkey Meatloaf
I adapted this recipe from one I found in the Real Simple magazine. It's so good and tastes really similar to ground beef meatloaf! Ingredients
- 20 oz ground turkey
- 1/4 cup dried bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 2 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp dried minced onion
- salt & pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup (for the top of the meatloaf)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Grease a rimmed baking sheet.
- Combine all ingredients (except the last 1/4 cup ketchup) in a bowl and mix well-- it works best if you just do it with your hands.
- Form the mixture into a loaf on the baking sheet and top it with 1/4 ketchup.
- Bake until cooked through (30-35 minutes).
