Tortilla (omelette with potatoes)
Spanish cuisine. One of my favorite dishes. Ingredients
- 4-5 potatoes
- 1 onion
- 4-5 eggs
- salt
Directions
- Dice potatoes with onions and fry under cover until they become golden
- Add salt.
- Beat up the eggs.
- Put potatoes into a deep bowl, add the beaten eggs and mix thoroughly.
- Then put mixture again into the pan and fry under the cover for several minutes.
- Get a large flat plate, and turn pan quickly on it (better do it over a sink, because of possible steaming liquid)
- Then put back into the pan and fry for a few more minutes under the cover.
