Tomato and Chive Soup
A year round soup using my fresh garden tomatoes and herbs. Ingredients
- one jar 20 ounce homemade tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup light cream
- chopped chives
- salt and black pepper
- croutons, crackers. crusty bread as garnish, if desired
Directions
- Empty jarred contents into a saucepan on medium/low heat, add light cream and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir during cooking time.
- Garnish with fresh chopped chives.
