    Toasted Mozzarella Cheese & Herb Bread Slices

    Great to soak up the pasta (Tomato) juices with. Wonderful mozzarella and herbs.

    Ingredients

    • 20 ounce loaf Italian Bread (Cut off ends-2") slice thick
    • 1/2 stick sweet cream butter
    • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
    • Fresh Chopped Flat Leaf Parsley
    • 3/4 cup grated Mozzarella Cheese

    Directions

    1. Set Oven on Broil (second position)
    2. Using non stick rimmed baking sheet pan(s) add bread slices
    3. In a mixing bowl add softened butter, onion and garlic powders, fresh chopped parsley (divided use), stir with a sturdy spatula until creamy consistency, spread on each slice of bread
    4. Add grated mozzarella cheese to the top of each coated slice of bread, place on baking sheet pan and pop under the broiler (keep an eye on the bread-Do not burn it) Lightly toast until cheese has melted
    5. Remove from oven, garnish lightly with parsley
    6. Serve and enjoy!
