    Pull out your blender and get ready to blend it up! There are an abundance of ingredients that will awaken your taste buds, but will also rejuvenate your cells, organs and muscles at the same time. So, read on to find out what are the best foods to add to your blender! This week, I enjoyed a smoothie for breakfast after an hour walk with my dog, Tanka, around Bay End Farm. Considering it was my first time successfully returning from the 200 acres full of winding trails, I was particularly proud of this walk. I celebrated with a smoothie that I designed during a workshop planning meeting with my friend, Jennifer Ladd, a local chef and farmer.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup of Cranberries (fresh or frozen)
    • 1 Banana
    • 1/4 cup Aloe Vera Juice or Gel
    • 1/2 Papaya
    • 1 cup Hemp or Flax Milk

    Directions

    1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
