    The best lemon bars you'll ever have

    this is a very esay dessert to make and your friends and family will love it!!

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup flour
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • 2 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    • dash of salt

    Directions

    1. sift flour and powdered sugar into bowl. blend in butter with fingertips until well mixed. pat evely into the bottom of an 8x8 inch baking pan. bake for 20 min. at 350 degrees. meanwhile, beat together eggs, granulated sugar, baking powder, lemon juice and salt. pour over crust and return to oven for 25 min. sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.

      These were very good. Only thing I would do difference is cook them about 20 minutes after pouring the lemon mixture on the top. They burned pretty bad around the edges at 25 minutes. I will definitely make this it again. It was a hit with kids and adults.

        I just baked these and although they taste dilicious,the filling is very runny.Is it possible an ingredient is missing in the recipe,perhaps flour or cornstarch ?
