  • Tagliatelle In Lemon Cream Sauce

    Ingredients

    • 8 ounce Uncooked Tagliatelle
    • 6 ounce Cooked ham, in 2x1/2" strips, 1 1/2 c.
    • 2 Tbsp. Margarine
    • 9 ounce Pkg. frzn asparagus cuts or possibly green beans, liquid removed
    • 3/4 c. Whipping cream, half and half or possibly, evaporated skim lowfat milk
    • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
    • 1 tsp Grated lemon peel, if you like

    Directions

    1. Cook Tagliatelle to desired doneness as directed on pkg. Drain and keep hot. Meanwhile, heat margarine in lg. skillet or possibly Dutch oven over Low heat.
    2. Add in ham and asparagus or possibly beans. Cook and stir for 3-4 mins. or possibly till well heated. Stir in cream, lemon juice and lemon peel, if using. Mix will look curdled. Cook over Low heat for 3 min or possibly till mix thickens slightly and is smooth, stirring frequently. Immediately stir in cooked Tagliatelle. Toss to coat with sauce. Garnish with additional lemon peel., if you like.
    3. be cut in half.
