Tagliatelle In Lemon Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- 8 ounce Uncooked Tagliatelle
- 6 ounce Cooked ham, in 2x1/2" strips, 1 1/2 c.
- 2 Tbsp. Margarine
- 9 ounce Pkg. frzn asparagus cuts or possibly green beans, liquid removed
- 3/4 c. Whipping cream, half and half or possibly, evaporated skim lowfat milk
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Grated lemon peel, if you like
Directions
- Cook Tagliatelle to desired doneness as directed on pkg. Drain and keep hot. Meanwhile, heat margarine in lg. skillet or possibly Dutch oven over Low heat.
- Add in ham and asparagus or possibly beans. Cook and stir for 3-4 mins. or possibly till well heated. Stir in cream, lemon juice and lemon peel, if using. Mix will look curdled. Cook over Low heat for 3 min or possibly till mix thickens slightly and is smooth, stirring frequently. Immediately stir in cooked Tagliatelle. Toss to coat with sauce. Garnish with additional lemon peel., if you like.
