Sweet Onion And Gorgonzola Pizza
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. oil, olive, extra virgin
- 2 x onion, sweet, large, thinly, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar, sherry
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 x crust, pizza, prepared
- 1 Tbsp. rosemary, fresh, minced
- 6 ounce cheese, gorgonzola, crumbled
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C)
- In large skillet heat oil over medium-high heat; cook onions stirring occasionally, for 10 to 12 min or possibly till starting to turn golden brown.
- Add in sugar and vinegar; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 15 to 20 min or possibly till almost no liquid remains.
- Remove from heat; stir in salt.
- Place pizza crust on baking sheet. Spread onions over top; sprinkle with rosemary.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake in oven for about 10 min or possibly till cheese is bubbly.
- Let stand for 5 min before serving.
