  • Sweet Eight Treasure Tofu Dessert (Chu)

    Ingredients

    • 1 c. cool water
    • 1/4 c. sugar
    • 12 x canned lotus seeds
    • 6 x dry red dates diced
    • 3 x preserved green plums diced
    • 2 x candied kumquats diced
    • 2 slc dry papaya diced
    • 2 Tbsp. raisins
    • 1 lb Silken Tofu Dessert liquid removed
    •     Minced toasted walnuts and
    •     mint sprigs for garnish

    Directions

    1. 1. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan; cook till sugar dissolves.
    2. Reduce heat to low and add in candied fruits; simmer for 10 min or possibly till syrup thickens.
    3. 2. Scoop tofu dessert into a shallow serving bowl. Arrange candied fruits over tofu dessert. Spoon syrup over all. Garnish with minced toasted walnuts and mint sprigs.
