Sweet Chestnut Soup
I hope that you try our Christmas sweet recipe and experience a taste of Malta this Christmas. Ingredients
- 400 grams dried chestnuts
- 175 grams sugar
- 50 grams drinking chocolate
- Zest of orange or tangerine
- Water
Directions
- Method
- Wash the chestnuts thoroughly and place them into a bowl full of water. Leave them to soak for about 10 hours.
- Boil the chestnuts in fresh water. Add the rest of the ingredients and leave to simmer until the chestnuts are tender. Serve very hot.
