Sushi Rice
Ingredients
- 2 cups short grain rice
- 2 cup water
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
Directions
- Rinse rice until water runs clear. Place rice in pot with the water and bring to a boil uncovered.
- Once at a boil reduce & cover. Cook 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand covered 10 minutes.
- Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and microwave 30-45 seconds. Fold into rice coating completely. Allow to cool to room temp before using.
