  • SUPER TASTY EGG CUSTARD

    This is a recipe which my mum made very often.It is now a favourite of my family.Very easy to make,it is one of those dishes that you can prepare in an instant.

    Ingredients

    • Eggs-8
    • Milk - 6 cups
    • Essence (vanilla) 1/2 tsp
    • Sugar-14 tsp
    • Any jam-2 tbsp

    Directions

    1. Beat the eggs and add the milk and beat again for 2 minutes.Now add the jam and stir well to mix.
    2. Take a pan, put the sugar in it and beat it till the sugar becomes brown.
    3. Pour the mixture over it.
    4. Place the pan into a bigger pan filled with water.
    5. Cover with a lid and place any heavy object on it.
    6. Gradually add water into the sugar pan and cook for about 45 minutes or until the pudding sets.
    7. Keep in the refrigerator till you are ready to serve.
    8. Just before serving,loosen the sides of the pan.
    9. Invert it onto the dish to serve.
