Stuffed Ladyfingers
Ingredients
- ladyfingers ½ kg
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Tamarind juice ½ cup
- Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
- White cumin 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds ½ tbsp
- Coriander seeds 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Directions
- On a pan, roast fennel seeds, whole coriander, white cumin and mustard seeds until they are golden.
- Then crush them together.
- In a bowl add tamarind juice and crushed spices and form a thick paste.
- Cut lady fingers length wise and stuff prepared mix in them.
- In a pan, heat a cup of oil and fry stuffed ladyfingers.
- Do not stir too much while ladyfingers are in the oil.
- Sprinkle salt to taste in the end and serve with hot chapattis.
