    Ingredients

    • 1 c. nuts, minced
    • 1/2 c. butter
    • 1 c. flour
    • 8 ounces cream cheese
    • 1 c. powdered sugar
    • 9 ounces Cold Whip, divided
    • 4 c. strawberries, crushed
    • 3 tbsp cornstarch
    • 1 c. sugar, divided
    • 1 c. water
    • 3 ounces O gelatin, strawberry

    Directions

    1. CRUST: Put together crust ingredients; spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan and cook at 350 F. for 10-15 min. Cool.FILLING: Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Mix in half the Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust. Chill.
    2. TOPPING: Mix sugar, water and cornstarch together in saucepan. Heat till mix begins to boil and turns from cloudy to clear. Remove from heat and add in strawberry jello mix. Add in strawberries to mix. Cool; spread over cream cheese filling. Chill. Cover with remaining Cool Whip topping and sprinkle with minced nuts, if you like.
