Steak and Potato Supper
One of my mothers recipes! Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. cubed steak
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 TBSP oil
- 2-4 small potatoes, quartered
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 tsp. dry parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
Directions
- Set oven to 350 degrees.
- Dredge steak in flour. Brown well in hot oil.
- Place meat in a 1 1/2 quart casserole.
- Add potatoes to the meat.
- Sprinkle onion, parsley, salt and pepper over meat and potatoes. Cover with tomato sauce.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
