Split Pea And Ham Soup
Ingredients
- 1 x Meaty ham bone, cracked
- 2 c. Green split peas
- 1/2 c. Minced onion
- 2 x Bay leaves
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Celery seed
- 1/4 tsp Dry marjoram
- 1/8 tsp Thyme
- 2 quart Warm water
Directions
- Place all ingredients in cooker. Add in the warm water. Cover and cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hrs. Remove bones; cut off meat and add in to soup.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings
