Spiced Plum Crunch
Special Cobbler can use with variety of fruits Ingredients
- Filling:
- 8 Cups sliced plums
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 Tbls minced crystallized ginger
- Topping:
- 2 Cups Old Fashioned Oats
- 1 Cup chopped pecans or sliced almonds
- 1/2 Cup flour
- 1/2 Cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 Tbls minced crystallized ginger
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 Tbls melted butter
- 2 Tbls canola oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray 9X13 pan with Pam
- For Filling:
- Toss fruit with brown sugar and ginger.
- Transfer to prepared pan and spread evenly.
- For Topping:
- Combine:oats, pecans, flour, brown sugar, ginger and salt.
- Over oats drizzle melted butter and oil and stir until evenly moistened.
- Sprinkle topping over fruit.
- Bake 40-50 minutes, til fruit is bubbly and topping is browned.
- Cool 20 minutes and serve topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
