- PUT FOIL ON BOTOM TRAY ADD WOOD YOU LIKE FOR FLAVOR PUT SMOKER TOGETHER. BRING GAS GRILL UP TO 450 DEGREES IT WILL SMOKE.WE COOK AT 500 DEGREE AT ALL TIMES. PUT THE TAMALES ON WHEN THEY ARE HOT SERVE.
