Crazy good, sweet and scrumptious, Sleepover Salted Maple Baked Donuts are a soft cake baked version that is easy and delicious.

    Ingredients

    • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
    • 2 eggs
    • ½ cup milk
    • 1 packet doughnut mix (Williams-Sonoma Salted Maple)
    • For the glaze:
    • 1 packet glaze mix (included with mix)
    • 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons milk

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375° F. Lightly grease the wells of the donut pan.
    2. In a large bowl, stir together the butter, eggs and milk. Add the doughnut mix and stir until well combined.
    3. Place 2 tablespoons batter into each well of the pan and spread evenly with a small spatula.
    4. Bake until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean, 10-12 minutes.
    5. Transfer the pan to a wire rack and let cool for 5 minutes, then invert the pan onto the rack and lift off the pan. Wipe the pan clean and repeat the process twice with the remaining batter.
    6. Place the glaze mix into a small bowl. Add the milk and stir until well combined. Let the donuts cool completely, and then dip them, top side down, into the glaze. Add toppings and return to the wire rack to allow the glaze to set, 10 minutes.
