Shrimp In Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 pound med. shrimp, cleaned & deveined
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. dry sherry
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 8 ounce. chicken stock
- 3 green onions, minced (include tops)
- 8 or possibly 9 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. oil
Directions
- Marinate shrimp in soy sauce, sherry and 1 Tbsp. of cornstarch for 30 min. Saute/fry 1 green onion and 1 garlic clove in oil for 1 minute. Add in marinated shrimp; stir-fry 3 min. Add in garlic and chicken stock; cover, simmer 5 min. Thicken sauce with remaining cornstarch mixed with 2 Tbsp. water. Garnish with remaining onion.
