Sausage Stuffed Onions
Ingredients
- 8 med. size sweet onions
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound bulk sausage
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 stick butter
- 1 sm. sweet green pepper, halved, seeded and diced
- 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. cornbread stuffing mix
- Fresh basil leaves and sweet red pepper for garnish
Directions
- Peel the onions and arrange in a large shallow microwave safe casserole dish. Add in the 1/2 c. water to the casserole, sprinkle with salt. Cover the dish with heavy duty microwave safe plastic wrap. Microwave on full power for 12 min.
